Our client who are a successful company within their field are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience working within a Purchase Ledger role.

Purchase Ledger Clerk  – Benefits Offered

  • £25,000 - £30,000 per annum 
  • 22 days holiday a year, plus bank holidays
  • Monday – Friday 9:00 – 5:30pm 

Purchase Ledger Clerk  - Job Overview

As Purchase Ledger Clerk your responsibilities include:

  • Matching, checking and costing invoices.
  • Manage site GRN
  • Make weekly payments via BACS or Faster Payment Files.
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries.
  • Allocating cash payments on cash ledger.
  • Report to various heads of departments with KPI’s.
  • Assist with annual audits.
  • Aid the finance director with various tasks.
  • Deal with payments of utilities for various sites

Purchase Ledger Clerk  - Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience using COINS software is desirable 
  • AAT Level 3 or 4 is preferable but not necessary
