Our client is an industry leading based organisation who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to begin their career in Finance with lots of opportunity for growth and development.

Accounts Assistant – Benefits Offered

• £25,000 per annum
• Excellent benefits
• Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
• Office based
• Fully funded learning and development contract (ACCA/CIMA)

Accounts Assistant - Job Overview

• Managing the costing, reconciling and payment of supplier invoices
• Support the running of the subcontractor ledger, processing payment runs
• Raising and issuing of the sales invoices to clients and assisting with credit control.
• Assisting and undertaking balance sheet controls and reconciliations, supporting the Management Accountant in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
• Assisting the Management Accountant and Head of Finance with the project work in progress and accruals reconciliation.
• Support and guide Junior Accounts Assistants, advising on any queries raised.
• Ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required

Accounts Assistant - Skills & Experience Required

• A relevant degree or AAT level 3 qualified
• Maths and English GCSE (A* - C or equivalent)
• High levels of accuracy
• Can prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
