Income Protection Officer

A service orientated Stevenage based company are now looking to recruit an experienced Income Officer to join their busy Debt Recovery team for a minimum of 3 months.

Working Monday to Friday 9-5.

Income Officer - Job Overview

As an Income Officer Advisor your duties will include;

• Delivery of an excellent income recovery, maximising income collection
• Providing operational support to the wider organisation
• Responsible for managing the most significant financial risks
• Have the ability to develop, maintain relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external parties and key stakeholders

• Ensuring that all necessary and proportional action is taken offering reasonable and appropriate interventions and support measures in relation to debt recovery

• Effectively questioning customers and communicating effectively to ensure the root cause of the problem is answered
• Ensuring compliance is met and standards achieved on a daily basis

Income Officer - Skills & Experience Required

• Previous debt recovery experience essential
• Strong PC skills including databases and all Microsoft programmes
• Proven ability to communicate with people at different levels
• Customer focussed, with empathy for customer problems and a real desire to help people on a daily basis
• Able to commit to a role for a minimum of 3 months

Income Officer - Benefits Offered

• £18.06 per hour plus holiday pay
• Intensive company training
• This is a longer-term temporary opportunity with scope to progress internally
