An excellent opportunity has become available for a highly organised and proactive Service Coordinator (Scheduler) to join a close-knit, office-based team. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role that would suit someone confident managing engineer schedules, working under pressure, and maintaining a strong customer-first approach.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating both planned and reactive maintenance jobs, managing a team of field engineers and subcontractors, and ensuring all work is scheduled efficiently to meet SLAs and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate weekly and daily engineer schedules across both planned maintenance and reactive callouts
  • Manage incoming service requests and raise work orders on the system
  • Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of services
  • Order parts, materials, and equipment in line with job requirements
  • Communicate with internal teams to support job progress and updates
  • Monitor outstanding jobs and report on progress weekly
  • Maintain customer communication and service records
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider operations team as needed

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience scheduling engineers or coordinating field teams (ideally 15+ engineers)
  • Strong planning and organisation skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident managing deadlines and keeping multiple workstreams on track
  • Process-driven mindset with a commitment to following systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal job management systems
  • Willingness to learn industry-specific terminology and technical basics
