Our client is looking for a dedicated Ombudsman to join their growing, independent, and impartial organisation. Ombudsman - Benefits 

• £30,000 - £32,000 per annum 
• Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Ombudsman - Job Overview 

• Resolving consumer-business disputes through mediation, conciliation, and adjudication.
• Providing legal guidance to businesses on consumer rights and complaints.
• Communicating with stakeholders via phone, email, text, and letter.
• Reviewing legal documents (terms & conditions, guarantees, warranties) for compliance.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry legislation and best practices.
• Engaging with government bodies, businesses, and trade associations to improve industry standards.

Ombudsman - Skills and Experience Required 

• A minimum of a 2:1 law degree (LL.B) or equivalent (postgrad or ADR certifications are a plus)
• Previous experience in an Ombudsman/Legal/Arbitration/dispute resolution type role 
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and decision-making abilities
• Experience with case management systems and Microsoft Office
• A professional, resilient, and impartial approach to dispute resolution.
