Social Media Marketing Executive

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Social Media & Marketing Executive will be responsible for the creation of exciting and engaging content across all marketing and social media communities, and supporting the Marketing Manager in continuing to increase brand awareness.

• £28,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience
• Monday – Friday 40 hour week

Social Media and Marketing Executive - Job Overview
As a Social Media and Marketing Executive your duties will include;

• Post regularly on the company’s social media with a range of content.
• Support the Marketing Manager in the execution of brand campaigns.
• Research and propose to Marketing Manager brand relevant content creators and influencers to work with.
• Communicate with customers via social media in a brand suitable voice (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and other relevant channels). Respond to comments and enquiries, escalating any feedback where necessary.
• Develop and implement the social media strategy with the aim of increasing our brand awareness, following, reach and engagement.
• Manage asset creation specific for social media, liaising internally with intention to develop own skills to manage solely.
• Create social ads, monitor, optimise and report on the effectiveness, working within allocated budgets.
• Assist in the creation of other digital content e.g, video with external agencies.
• Plan, execute and cover various events across the UK.
• Monitor competitors’ activities and keeping the business informed.
• Ad hoc duties as deemed necessary for the needs of the business.

Social Media and Marketing Executive - Skills & Experience Required

• Experience working within a similar role
• Excellent writing, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent eye for creative assets – important to have a creative eye for photography, colour, content, and graphics.
• Experience creating ads on social media.
• Proficiency in using social media software & tools and a CMS system.
• Demonstrated experience to work towards tight deadlines.
• Full UK drivers licence is essential
