Production Operative

Immediate opportunity for a Production Operative to join this established company based in Welwyn Garden City on a full-time Permanent basis.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.

Production Operative – Job Overview

• Support the Production department to consistently deliver an efficient service
• Soldering electronic items
• Process production work and reworks as instructed
• Promptly report any failures, difficulties or component shortages
• Ensure all goods received is checked
• Reach and maintain productivity output levels
• Keep the work area as clean and tidy
• Build and maintain relationships with internal departments, i.e. warehouse, quality control, customer service and the technical department, to ensure that all procedures are workable and adhered to.

Production Operative – Required Skills and Experience

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
• Strong written and spoken English communication
• Basic electrical wiring experience
• Experience of working within a warehouse or distribution Centre or production area
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook would be desirable.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy boxes

Production Operative – Benefits Offered

• £25,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
