Head of Finance

New opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a collaborative approach, strong leadership skills, and a hands-on attitude to join our well-established client as their Head of Finance! Our client is a dynamic and growing business with a £4m turnover within the manufacturing industry. 

Head of Finance - Details 

• £75,000 - £90,000 per annum 
• Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm 
• Hybrid working
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays 

Head of Finance - Job Overview 

• Providing strategic and operational leadership across all financial activities
• Leading a team of six direct reports, to play a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
• Overseeing management accounts and reporting, ensuring accurate financial insights
• Managing hedging strategies, FX transactions, and invoice factoring
• Leading year-end accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Supervising weekly payment runs, HMRC payments, and margin analysis
• Conducting month-end variance analysis, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to support commercial decision-making.

Head of Finance - Skills & Experience Required 

• Proven experience within a similar Head of Finance role such as Senior Financial Accountant, Finance Director, or Financial Controller, with a track record of successfully managing a finance function within a growing business with a c. £4m turnover
• Proficient user of Navision Microsoft as a core financial system
• Strong leadership skills 
• Collaborative and hands-on attitude.
