Paint Sprayer

A growing manufacturing business in Hitchin are looking to expand their team and recruit a Paint Sprayer on a Permanent basis.

As a Paint Sprayer you will play a crucial role within the organisation and have an opportunity to grow within a forward-thinking company. You will be required to work in the metal finishing operation and ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards through efficient and effective utilisation of equipment.

Paint Sprayer – Benefits Offered

• Hourly rate of £12.80 - £16.00 an hour depending on experience based on a 39-hour week with potential for paid overtime

Paint Sprayer – Duties

• Oversee spraying operations, plan and prioritize paint shop tasks to meet assembly needs, and maximize efficiency.
• Report any schedule changes or delays promptly.
• Ensure equipment is set up and operated correctly, inspection is completed, and all required paperwork is finalized.
• Address quality issues within the section, report problems from other areas, and complete related documentation.
• Follow company procedures, maintain health and safety standards, and keep the work area clean and well-maintained.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve production efficiency and meet customer needs.
• Continuously seek ways to improve processes, equipment, and practices in the paint shop.
• Ensure a safe work environment and report any health and safety concerns immediately.

Paint Sprayer - Skills/Qualifications Required/Desired:    

• Experience and training in a Paint shop environment
• Experience in Paint spraying or Powder coating
• Able to follow instructions
• Awareness of health and safety
