Graduate Customer Service – Job Overview
You'll play a vital role in ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience. Engaging mainly via inbound calls and digital channels, you'll support a wide variety of enquiries, help customers understand and access the right services for their needs, and play a key part in onboarding and retention activities.
You’ll develop strong product knowledge, gain experience in relationship-building, and have opportunities to work across departments to improve customer engagement. From handling membership queries to supporting events and gathering customer feedback, every day offers new chances to grow.
- Deliver exceptional service to existing and prospective members and customers, mainly by phone and email
- Help identify customer needs and recommend relevant products and services
- Support new members through the onboarding process, ensuring they feel welcomed and informed
- Handle sensitive information with care and accuracy, including processing payments
- Act as a customer advocate internally, sharing feedback with wider teams
- Meet individual activity targets and contribute to team goals
- Support team projects and events where needed
Graduate Customer Service – Required Skills and Experience
We’re looking for graduates who are:
- Great communicators – both verbal and written
- Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
- Confident multitaskers with good time management skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and happy to learn new systems
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
Previous customer-facing or administrative experience (paid or voluntary) would be a plus, but isn’t essential.
