A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised Customer Service Supervisor to join a fast-paced and supportive business. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in customer order processing, fulfilment, and team leadership—looking to take ownership of service delivery in a busy operational environment. You’ll lead the day-to-day running of the customer service team, ensuring all sales orders, invoicing, and fulfilment processes are completed accurately and on time. The role includes using JD Edwards for order management and stock control, managing customer enquiries, and overseeing the timely issue of invoices and credit/debit notes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise customer order processing, invoicing, and fulfilment workflows
- Oversee backorder management, goods dispatch, and shipping documentation
- Use JD Edwards to manage orders, customer data, and inventory movements
- Respond to customer queries and escalate service issues where needed
- Monitor service levels and coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines
- Ensure accurate production of credit/debit notes and customer records
- Train and support team members, promoting high service standards
- Assist with reporting and contribute to continuous process improvements
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in a customer service/order processing environment
- Supervisory or team leadership background
- Confident user of JD Edwards or similar ERP systems
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
