Customer Account Handler (Insurance) – Job Overview

• Handling customer enquiries via phone and in-person, processing insurance policy amendments, and ensuring cover meets their needs.
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional products, including financial services.
• Investigating and processing claims efficiently and professionally.
• Keeping up to date with industry knowledge to provide compliant and professional advice.

Customer Account Handler (Insurance) – Skills and Experience required

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C) including Maths & English (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A full UK driving licence (due to office location).
• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Professional and friendly approach in both face-to-face and telephone interactions.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to use initiative.
• Honest, diligent, and comfortable working in a regulated environment.
