Sales Advisor

Are you a customer-focused individual with a flair for technical products and an interest in supporting sales? We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Advisor to join a growing and professional sales team within a well-established manufacturing business. This is a varied role combining customer service, technical support, sales administration, and social media engagement.

You will play a key role in handling customer enquiries across a range of products, producing quotes, providing technical advice, and contributing to the company’s online brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and website, providing prices, quotations, and delivery information

• Process sales orders, including invoices, queries, credits, and complaint handling

• Provide technical support to customers, particularly around product specifications and applications

• Collaborate with production, technical, and purchasing teams to resolve issues and enhance customer experience

• Maintain accurate customer data within CRM systems

• Develop product knowledge and provide training-based support to customers

• Independently manage business social media accounts, creating content and monitoring engagement

• Assist with sales-related administrative tasks and contribute to business development initiatives

Skills and Experience Required

• Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role within a technical or manufacturing environment

• Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Confident handling technical information and supporting customers with product queries

• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems

• Familiarity with social media platforms for business use and interpreting technical drawings or working with CAD is advantageous

Benefits

• £27,500 - £29,500 per annum 

• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, and additional time off over Christmas

• 39 hours per week (8.30am - 5pm, 4pm Friday finish)
