Our client, a well-established national business, with their head office in Biggleswade, are looking for a Parts Administrator and Customer Service Advisor. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement and sales of parts, supporting service engineers, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Parts Administrator and Customer Service Advisor - Job Overview
- Prepare and process parts quotations and sales orders
- Manage urgent parts and aftersales enquiries, ensuring timely resolution
- Progress and track supplier and back orders
- Support internal invoicing processes, warranty orders, and work order creation
- Use internal systems to identify spare parts
- Maintain accurate parts data and documentation for efficient ordering and retrieval
- Communicate with customers, service engineers, and the wider sales/aftersales team
- Organise travel and training plans for the department
- Participate in off-site meetings, training and exhibitions (including potential travel)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative procedures and customer support
Parts Administrator and Customer Service Advisor - Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in the construction plant, transport, or engineering industry is desirable
- Experience in a parts, service, or warranty-related role is advantageous
- A strong customer service approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external customers
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and support continuous improvement
- Flexible approach to working hours to ensure team coverage

- Permanent contract
- Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm
