A growing, forward-thinking business within the construction manufacturing sector is looking for a confident and detail-driven Operations Administrator to support their fast-paced purchasing and planning teams. This is a fully office-based position offering a varied and involved workload. It would suit someone with a background in purchasing, planning or supply chain, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Operations Administrator – Job Overview

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, costs, and supplier performance
  • Manage shared inboxes and general purchasing/production administration
  • Process delivery notes and goods received entries accurately
  • Carry out stock reconciliations and support reporting activity
  • Assist with project costing admin, label preparation and logistics planning
  • Coordinate pallet dimensions and transport requirements
  • Provide cover for purchasing and planning teams during holidays or absence

Operations Administrator – Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations within a manufacturing setting
  • Comfortable working with numbers and confident in administrative processes
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Logical thinker with the ability to understand and work through technical information
  • Proactive, professional and committed to quality and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at grade C or above
