Employment Law Update - Second date added due to popular demand
In October 2024, a new legal duty will be placed on employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of their employees in the workplace. This change emphasises the need for proactive measures from employers to ensure a safe and inclusive working environment.
At our next Employment Law Update we will ensuring you are prepared for what is ahead!
This seminar will be delivered by Alix Beese from BP Collins. Alix is a partner and employment law specialist and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. He provides responsive legal advice on a range of employment law issues including complex Employment Tribunal litigation, supporting clients with employee relations issues, drafting employment documentation and advising on TUPE processes.
We will also be using our event as an opportunity to recap on the substantial Employment Law changes we discussed at our event in February. Alix will recap on some of the key changes that came into place in April 2024 and predicted considerations moving forwards. Alix will also discuss the upcoming right to request more predictable working patterns for eligible workers.
