This seminar will be delivered by Alix Beese and Anna Ives from BP Collins.  Alix is a partner and employment law specialist and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.  He provides responsive legal advice on a range of employment law issues including complex Employment Tribunal litigation, supporting clients with employee relations issues, drafting employment documentation and advising on TUPE processes.  Anna is a Senior HR Consultant specialising in partnering with businesses to offer a range of HR Services.

During this seminar we will be covering:

• A recap on the duty placed on employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment as we discussed at our event in September
• Updates to wages/applicable rates
• The Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act
• Updates to codes of practice relating to collective consultation
• An overview of the significant and far reaching changes proposed within the Employment Rights Bill/ The Draft Equality (Race and Disability) Bill (with a focus on probationary periods and what steps can be taken now to prepare)
