A new opportunity for an enthusiastic Administrator with an interest in Human Resources to progress their career and join a large leading organisation based in St Albans. This role involves delivering a high level, efficient and comprehensive HR service. As well as excellent leadership this role offers structured training and scope for development including gaining casework experience.
HR Assistant – Benefits Offered
- £26,000 per annum
- 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 4.30pm finish on Fridays
- 30 days holiday entitlement (plus bank holidays)

HR Assistant – Job Description
- Monitor the HR email inbox for queries including holiday requests and pay queries
- HR administration tasks including maternity benefits, contract changes and resignations
- All recruitment compliance, drafting contracts, confirming start dates, enrol on to systems and ensure all online courses are completed
- Complete any changes to contracts including salary, hour, flexible working and reasonable adjustment queries
HR Assistant – Required Skills and Experience
- Strong admin experience
- Certificate in Personnel Practice or relevant degree (working towards full CIPD qualification) preferred
- Microsoft Office skills
