Are you an experienced finance professional with strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail? Our client is seeking a talented Finance Officer to join their busy and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills in a varied role where you’ll contribute to accurate financial reporting, ensure compliance, and support key business decisions.
Finance Officer – Job Overview
• Prepare, reconcile, and monitor financial records in line with internal and external requirements
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and promptly
• Support month-end and year-end reporting, including reconciliations and adjustments
• Maintain and update financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Analyse financial information to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
• Support budget monitoring and forecasting processes
• Assist with audits and provide information to external bodies as required
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
Finance Officer – Skills & Experience Required
• AAT Level 3 or 4 qualified (or working towards)
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grades 4–9 (C–A*) or equivalent
• Proven finance experience, ideally in a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Proactive and self-motivated with a flexible approach
