A growing manufacturing business in Hitchin are looking to expand their team and recruit an Electroplater on a Permanent basis.

As an Electroplater will play a crucial role within the organisation and have an opportunity to grow within a forward-thinking company. The ideal candidate should be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, and capable of working effectively with others at all levels.

Electroplater – Benefits Offered

• Hourly rate of £13 - £15 an hour depending on experience based on 39 hour week with potential for paid overtime

Electroplater – Duties

• Loading and Unloading materials
• Identify record and pack components bases on requirements
• Keep working area clean and tidy
• Recognise and report variations
• Recognise, rectify or report and trends in rejects
• Complete all work in accordance with working instructions and procedures

Electroplater - Skills/Qualifications Required/Desired:                            

• Experience in a similar role
• Plating experience
• Experience working with Zinc and Nickel finishes
• Knowledge of plating plant maintenance
• Able to read engineer drawings.
• Able to work with a variety of tools
• Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel with  good computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Engineering or Mechanical background.
