Are you from an operational background and looking to take the next step in your career? We’re recruiting for a Process Mapping Coordinator to join a busy transformation team based in Hatfield. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who understands how things work on the ground and enjoys improving processes to make work safer, easier and more efficient.
As a Process Mapping Coordinator, your main focus for the first six months will be working with teams across the business to understand and map out how day-to-day operations currently run. You’ll spend time speaking with all internal departments, observing tasks and documenting workflows to highlight what works well and where improvements can be made.
Once the initial mapping phase is complete, you’ll support wider transformation activities such as refining processes, helping roll out new ways of working, and supporting operational teams through change.
Key responsibilities include:
• Spending time with internal teams to understand real workflows and procedures.
• Mapping out “As Is” processes in a clear, practical way that reflects actual on-site activity.
• Identifying bottlenecks, unnecessary steps, safety concerns and improvement opportunities.
• Supporting the creation of improved “To Be” processes alongside operations and transformation teams.
• Helping implement new processes and supporting staff during changes.
• Preparing simple, clear process documentation, guides and supporting materials.
• Attending project meetings, sharing progress updates and helping track actions.
Experience & qualifications:
• Experience writing or maintaining process flows
• Experience and knowledge of an operational environment
• Process mapping or continuous improvement experience
• Confidence using IT systems
• Experience in Visio (or similar process mapping software)
Benefits
• £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
• 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
• Hybrid working (3 days office based)
• 25 days holiday entitlement
• On site parking
Thank you for your application.
